The search operation faced challenges due to rising water levels, swift currents, and murky water conditions. Despite these difficulties, rescue crews managed to retrieve the bodies on Friday, March 9th.
According to authorities, seven people remain missing after a boat capsizing incident off the Sicilian coast, involving 22 passengers.
In a similar incident, emergency services discovered two bodies in waters near Kangaroo Island following a boat capsizing on Wednesday afternoon.
Capsizing occurs when a boat or ship rolls over due to wave action, instability, or wind force exceeding its angle of stability.
