Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's security was breached on Tuesday when a man managed to get close to him and touch his feet at an event in Mysuru.

The incident

The incident took place at the inauguration of a new building of the Mysuru City Corporation. As Siddaramaiah was walking towards the dais, a man suddenly came close to him and touched his feet.

The man was immediately taken away by the security personnel.

Reaction from Siddaramaiah

Siddaramaiah did not react to the incident and continued with his speech.

Security lapse

The incident has raised questions about the security arrangements for the Chief Minister.

The Mysuru Police Commissioner has ordered a probe into the incident.
