Kentucky Sheriff’s Office Arrests 11 in Drug Bust

Multi-Agency Effort Leads to Seizure of Large Amounts of Drugs and Cash

Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, and DEA Join Forces

On June 16, 2023, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Kentucky State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), executed a search warrant at a residence in Pikeville, Kentucky. The search warrant was the culmination of a multi-month investigation into drug trafficking in the area.

Upon executing the search warrant, law enforcement officers seized approximately:

  • 2 pounds of methamphetamine
  • 1 pound of cocaine
  • $100,000 in cash
  • Several firearms

Eleven individuals were arrested and charged with various drug-related offenses. The investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are expected.
